SQUIRT
Kristovia Hall better known as Squirt is the hottest underground rapper/songwriter from the South. Squirt was born and raised in the Port City of Mobile, Alabama. Throughout his life Squirt has always had the strong ambition to excel in the music industry. In his early teenage years Squirt formed a rap named Thurobred which consisted of four of his childhood friends. The group grew to be extremely popular throughout Mobile, and The Mobile Press Register referred to them as being “Ahead of their time.” Unfortunately the success of Thurobred was derailed for a brief period of time due to Squirt being incarcerated at the early age of 16. This downfall taught him a lot about life, and once released from prison he was completely focused on his music career. While incarcerated Squirt teamed up with Hip-hop veteran, The Last Mr. Bigg, who taught him the business aspect of the music industry. After his stint in prison Squirt toured around the country, opening for artists such as The Last Mr. Bigg, UGK, Lil Boosie, and other major artist. After touring the country for a number of years Squirt decided to pursue a solo career, due to the great level of popularity he was receiving. His first solo single “Act A Fool” was an hit on the streets of Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and Las Vegas. The song gave Squirt much recognition from many different record labels, and was named “The best underground hit” several times. Besides his expertise in making music, Squirt has co-produced several music videos and independent videos. He co-produced a very successful video entitled Alabama Stand Up, which showcased all of the hidden talents throughout the state of Alabama. Alabama Stand Up sold over 25,000 units, and resulted into two artist acquiring record deals. Squirt has done a lot throughout his career, but now he feels that he is ready to become one of the leaders of the Hip-hop movement.
